Pickup from Coimbatore Airport / Railway Station and move to Ooty. After reaching, visit Ooty Lake, approximately 2 kms from Ooty-a popular destination for picnicking, paddle boating and enjoying Ooty leisurely. Its scenic beauty is really mesmirizing. The Lake is surrounded by Eucalyptus trees and greenery all around. Next we will visit Rose Garden-near Vijayanagaram with around 3600 varieties of roses. It is the largest rose garden in India.This garden was recognized as the ‘Garden of Excellence’ by the World Federation of Rose Societies (WFRS). Next to that we have Botanical Garden– visit the magical place. A pleasant green space away from the craziness of city. It’s just like a park with full of greenery around you- do nothing just admire the beauty. Have your lunch and visit to Doddabetta Peak- it’s literally a big mountain-4 th highest peak in South India-wonderful trekking point. Reaching at the top means a visual treat of the surrounding beauty of Nilgiri.
Return back to the Hotel / Homestay and take rest.
After breakfast visit The Tea Factory and The Tea Museum, on the way to Dodabetta Peak,the factory and museum are nearby. A world of tea, its history, manufacturing, equipments used, etc can be understood very well. Small stalls are there for purchasing variety of tea, handmade chocolatesetc are there. From there move to Pykara Lake, a great picnic spot surrounded by water, Pine trees and greenery. You will need to trek a bit to reach the falls. Speed boats and motor boats are available here and seeks the attraction of tourists. Just near to that is Pykara Falls– formed by Pykara River nearby Pykara Dam. The falls is just wonderful and provides a great view of the eucalyptus trees, grassy meadows etc. surrounded by it give you a lifetime memories.

After breakfast drive to Calicut and visit Edakkal caves– An interesting trek up the Ambukuthi Hill near Ambalavayal town. It is famous for its pictorial paintings done in the caves-takes you to the fascinating neolithic cave site of Edakkal. Etchings found on the walls of these caves have drawn the serious attention of archaeologists and historians worldwide. After Edakkal proceed to Heritage museum situated in Ambalavayal- one of the largest and best archaeological museums in Kerala. There you can explore the entire Wayanad history. Afternoon have your lunch and visit Soochippara waterfalls, a three-tiered waterfall in Vellarimala, Wayanad, surrounded by Deciduous, Evergreen and Montane forests, where you can take bath too. To reach the waterfalls people have to walk a natural rocky trek path which is a thrilling experience.
Back to the hotel / resort and take rest after the tiresome journey.
After breakfast proceed to Banasura Dam, Considered to be the largest earth dam in India and the 2nd largest in Asia. The view from here is just magical. Speed boat one of the main attraction here, peddle boats are also available. Pookod Lake, the natural freshwater lake is the next sightseeing place to visit. Boating and sightseeing is the main activity here. It is a perfect place for families to chill out. If still time permits move to Lakkidi View Point-just 5kms within the Lakkidi Town. One can have a view of the zig-zag roads from the height.

After breakfast checkout from the hotel / resort and move to Mysore. Enroute visit Srirangapatna temple– a temple dedicated to Lord Sri Ranganatha (a manifestation of the god vishnu)–in reclining posture on a seven hooded Adi Sesha. A very beautiful and crowded temple-presents a brilliant example of architectural magnificence. After the visit move to Mysore Palace-one of the most visited monuments in India. It is built in Indo-Saracenic style and blends together Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles of architecture. The palace is a treasure house of exquisite carvings and works of art from all over the world and it has a large beautiful garden surrounded by it. After having your lunch drive to beautiful Brindavan Gardens-spread across 60 acres is the abode of nature. It is built across the notable river of India, Cauvery. It has many activities to enjoy for kids and also for elders. In the evening, the well-synchronised and lively fountain show with music is just a stress-buster. Boating in the tranquil waters of River Cauvery is another activity to relax here. Brindavan Gardens is a perfect place to rewind and have ultimate fun with your family.
